Listed Building Windows and Doors

London

Project Details

This listed building in London called for bespoke windows and doors that would respect the property’s historic character while bringing modern performance. As with any listed project, the planning side needed careful handling, and we worked closely with the client to support the permission process.

The windows were crafted in Accoya and red grandis and fitted with vacuum glazing, which delivers strong thermal performance within the slim sightlines a heritage property demands, reaching a U-value of around 0.7 W/m²K. The bespoke entrance door was finished in a colour the customer chose specifically to suit the character of the property, fitted with Hardwick ironmongery.

The combination of premium timber, vacuum glazing and a carefully chosen finish shows how a listed home can gain real performance without losing its period character.
