Windows and Doors Hythe Case Study

Accoya Flush Casement Windows

Hythe, Kent

Project Details

The owners of this home in Hythe came to us to replace a set of tired, ageing windows that were no longer performing. They wanted a replacement that kept the traditional character of the property while bringing it up to modern standards of comfort, security and efficiency.

We designed, manufactured and installed bespoke flush casement windows in Accoya, a modified timber prized for its stability and long-term durability in exposed conditions. The flush casement styling sits the sashes neatly within the frame for a clean, traditional sightline, while high-performance double glazing delivers a U-value of 1.2 W/m²K. Each window was finished in our workshop for a durable, long-lasting result, fitted with a secure multipoint locking system to PAS24 and Secured by Design standards, and hung on Reddiseal hardware.

The outcome is a cleaner, sharper look that suits the property, with a noticeable lift in comfort, security and year-round energy efficiency: handcrafted timber windows built to last and designed to enhance the character of the home for decades to come.
